Laptops and Lower Sperm Count
Knowing the factors that affect sperm count is beneficial when you are trying to improve your fertility and start a family. One potential risk for lower sperm count that you may not be aware of is the use of a laptop.
In this video, CBS’s Health Watch reports about some recent studies that have shown a link between overheating and male infertility. The heat generated from laptops is enough to raise the temperature of the testicles enough to damage the sperm. Using a laptop on a desk or other surface will reduce this risk, and there are some other common guidelines you can follow to help keep your sperm count up.
